Walking the Plank by onewing

Walking the Plank

While walking past our local duck pond I spotted this cheeky sulphur crested cockatoo. He was very tame and I think he was hoping I was going to give him some food. Sadly I didn't have anything for him.

Thanks so much for putting my Rainbow 3D Orb photo on the Top Twenty. A few people sent me notifications this morning to let me know it had reached number one on the TT. Amazing. It will probably be downhill from now, ha ha. Never had a number one before.

Great capture fav

Somebody had put food for the birds close to the pond and a gang of lorikeets and little corellas were feasting on it. The cockatoos couldn't get a look in. This one was trying to get close.

@jorlam No Jorlam I didn't use flash. In fact it was more or less sooc except for a slight crop. David and I were taking photos of the birds and I was walking back to the car when I saw this cheeky cocky flying down onto the bench. I think he thought I was going to feed him. I just clicked quickly as he was so close and I didn't know what I had got until I returned home.
