I am a bit late posting tonight because we have been at Maitland Steamfest all day and out for dinner this evening and only just got home.
I am shattered tonight, we have walked miles today. It has been a beautiful day though and lots of sunshine. I think the temperature reached 28 degrees C. Not bad for an autumn day.
I haven't had time yet to check out any of the photos taken today because I am in desperate need of a cup of tea. Only had two cups of tea so far today and I am getting withdrawal symptoms.
I took this photo at the same time as yesterday's sulphur crested cockatoo photo at our local duck pond.
This is a little corella and there were quite a gang of them by the pond. I think somebody leaves fruit peelings, seeds etc to feed the birds and ducks and the birds all congregate to eat the goodies left for them.
I will catch up with 365 tomorrow, too tired this evening and off to bed early.
A superb PoV and focus point.. the bird shows up beautifully against the deep blue of the sky.. there's some serious textures going on, especially in the feathers.. another gorgeous bird image.
Bweautiful bird. You made me laugh regarding the cups of tea - I can identify. We got back from our holiday after two weeks of tea with no milk and were really looking forward to a cup of tea the way we like it - only my eldest hadn't bought any milk in! What a disaster ;)
do you ever slow down?
No Annie I never seem to slow down do I. Keep it to yourself, but I think I have got a quiet day on Thursday, ha ha.
