Attitude

A few days ago I had a bit of a 'me' day and after having my hair cut in the morning, came home for lunch and then drove up to Oakvale Farm to take some photos.

Over the next few days I will post photos taken at Oakvale.

Here you can see this gorgeous ostrich who definitely has attitude.

As it is school holidays at the moment, there were lots of kids at Oakvale and each person is given a bag of food to feed the animals. You will see here that this character seems to have more than his fair share judging by the state of his beak.

you didn't just get the 'catchlight' in the eye - you got the whole scene.. well done Babs..

I just love the attitude of ostriches. He strutted over to me hoping that I had some food for him but when he discovered that all I had was a camera to take photos of him he walked off in disgust.
He's much taller than I am so I was glad he wasn't aggressive.
Next time I go to Oakvale I will have to buy a bag of food for him to show my appreciation for his great photo.
