On Thursday we were on a wildflower walk in bushland at Fingal Bay with our walking group, so I had to take lots of photos of the flowers we spotted along the way.
Today and tomorrow I will be posting a collage of the flowers seen.
Thanks everyone too for putting my African Daisy macro photo on the TT. It is quite ironic that I, who rarely takes photos of flowers, should get a flower photo on the TT. I am thrilled.
As I am not very good at identifying flowers I couldn't tell you the names of most of these wildflowers. The only one I do know is the one in the centre and that is a flannel flower. Maybe somebody can help me out identifying them.
Fabulous collage. I am just learning how to do them so I am in awe. A fabulous array of flowers too. Not sure whether the bottom left is stephanotis or possibly jasmine but the former is my guess.
Beautiful collage of flowers Babs! I am terrible at flower names too even though I love to photograph them.... I think, but could most definitely be wrong, that the lower right and top left are a type of gorse? http://www.wildlifetrusts.org/species/gorse
Babs, viewing this gorgeous collage of super flower images i can hardly believe this is a genre you would normally shun. your images are beautifully and artfully composed and the resulting collage an absolute gem.
As many of you know I rarely take photos of flowers, so I hope the shock isn't too great for you all. I am posting another collage of the wildflowers today too and then I think I will be flowered out for a while.
