I am posting a bit late tonight because we have been up to the Gan Gan Lookout in Nelson Bay to watch the International Space Station pass in front of Saturn.
David and I got up there before sunset because he had to set up his cameras to video the ISS.
Here you can see the Gymea lilies flowering. When they are flowering they send up a flower spike of up to 6 metres.
A beautiful shot Babs. Did you see the station. Emma-Grace likes to watch it fly over on Christmas Eve. She thinks it's Santa bless her :) Makes for a great start to the festive holidays though :)
Very pretty! I remember watching the space station pass overhead here a few years back. It was really fun to watch it speed across the sky. I hope David got a good video. Pretty flowers too- sounds like great shots from above and below were in order for today.
