Refreshing Rain

Our rain gauge has only recorded 14 mm rain after such a dry spell, but the flowers are really looking healthier after a good soaking.

Even though we water the garden regularly you still can't beat a good downpour of rain.

Yes, lovely rain Babs. My understanding is that there is more nitrogen released with rain and therefore the plants do better.

You're right about the superior benefits of rain. I'm reliably told that's due to the atmospheric nitrogen rain picks up as it fall from a great height.
