Oh, my gosh... he has that stare that I recognise from not having anything more than a wrist downwards! Heaven knows what happened to his right arm! Perhaps we should call a responsible person?
Well, I can empathise with the sleep apnoea. My mask goes on every night (grrrrr). Hands and arms? His carers need a good dressing down over leaving him out in the wind
Oh my oh my, definitely not a good advert for swimming with sharks!! I thought he was a real person when I first looked.......that made it even worse LOL!
He has really been treated badly. It's sort of strands that they continue to use him as the model for their equipment. Too expensive to replace, I guess.
@sangwann The people in the chemist do change his clothes regularly.
@casablanca Ha ha, not even I'm brave enough to go up to a real chap minus a couple of limbs and ask if I can take his photo.
@mittens It is the beginning of Autumn here in the southern hemisphere but still pretty warm. I think they will be changing his clothes once the cooler weather sets in, but we still have a couple of months to go yet before he will need warmer clothing.
@henrir I think he is regarded as one of the staff now, he even has a name badge.
@happypat The mask is a sleep apnoea mask. I don't think anyone would pay $79 for him do you. I am not sure what is in the container next to him for $79 maybe they are fold up beach chairs.
Poor fellow! Even if he could walk away from his current employer, who'd hire a man with no hands? Unless it was an owner of a mannequin limb supply warehouse. Yes, I think his owners deserve a speaking to!
I can't believe those people standing so close to the edge of the water like that! Crazy.
He looks perplexed - is it because no one has ever stopped and looked at him before now? I am sure he has never had so much attention in his life. people always did stare at the disabled and feel entitled to talk about them in public!!
This was at one of our local beaches last Easter
Fingal Bay is about 10 km from our house.

@louannwarren @merrelyn @thistle @tremerryn @seattlite @ludwigsdiana @craftymeg @carolmw @huvesaker @susiemc @suzanne234 I think he must have gone swimming with sharks during the summer.

@pcoulson grooooan!
The people close to the ocean checking out the sharks are really crazy aren't they. God's way of sifting out the stupid I suppose.
