Thanks so much for putting yesterday's Fire and Ice photo on the PP.
We have now finally cleared up the mess after the storm on Saturday.
David chopped up the broken branches from a couple of our trees this afternoon with the chain saw, so we have got lots more wood ready for winter now.
Not too much more damage though, just a rather shredded sun umbrella on the patio and one of the windscreen wipers on my car was dislodged probably by the force of the wind and hail. David fixed that this afternoon too.
When you see a lovely sunset like this you would never believe that a massive storm had blown through the day before would you.
What a beautiful sunset. They are often better with the pollution levels higher in the air bizarrely after smoke or storm. Glad you're doing okay and back in order again.
I think sometimes they are even more spectacular after the storm- particles in the atmosphere and all. This is really gorgeous- the people look like they're walking in some sort of orange liquid!
David has been checking the roof and the gutters of our house today and no damage so far. The gutters aren't too clogged up because we have gutter guard to protect them from leaves etc. but there are still quite a lot of leaves on the roof. We will just have to wait until they blow down.
