There are 62 sculptures of koalas around Port Macquarie at the moment and 7 of them are at Sea Acres Rainforest Centre. Apparently there were 8 sculptures here, but one of them, Ranger Riley, has gone walkabout on loan to Victoria at the moment I believe.
The lighting on some of the sculptures isn't brilliant, but it was impossible to move the sculptures or chop the trees down either ha ha.
theyre beautiful Babs. Reminds me of the lovely bears I saw when we visited Berlin. There are a lot of painted sheep at Kaniva, Victoria. We go past them on our way from Adelaide to Melbourne. I have tried to photograph them rather unsuccessfully. Never have enough time to spare
@gilbertwood You will have to check them out if you are ever up there. I think you can get a map online. We got ours from Sea Winds but didn't have time to check out the rest of the sculptures. It was too hot anyway. ha ha.
