Rhys Fabris - Laneway Street Art

A few weeks ago I posted a diptych of street art by artist Rhys Fabris.

I have since returned to take photos of sections of the laneway showing the complete artwork. It has really brightened up what was once a rather boring laneway.

Rhys is a local street artist and over the next few days I will post more of his artwork in our area.

I just love how this street art shows native flora and fauna. Last time I went past I saw a Mum and her little girl looking at the artwork and the little girl was writing down all the things she could identify on the mural - black cockatoo, echidna, kookaburra, rainbow lorikeet, whale, honeyeater, bottlebrush, banksia, Gymea lily etc. She was having a lovely time.
