Flooded Fields

I am going to attempt to post photos for the Flash of Red February challenge. Not sure how long I will last, but here goes. If I read the instructions correctly this week should be landscape photos.

I took this photo a few weeks ago after we had torrential rain for quite a few days. What looks like a lake in the distance is in fact flooded fields at Salt Ash. When we drove to Newcastle yesterday the water has receded again now though.

Just found out that my After the Storm photo was on the TT, thanks so much for putting it there.

Sorry I have been a bit absent this weekend but had a busy time. Hopefully I will catch up again this evening.

We have never had so much rain for years. We desperately needed some rain but we have now gone from one extreme to another. Luckily we don't get flooded where we live but we do see the damage the rains have caused when we travel to Newcastle or further afield.
