Little Beach in Nelson Bay is normally so busy and is one of our popular tourist beaches because just across the road from this beach there are lots of apartment buildings used as holiday lets and also at the end of the beach is a caravan park.
I took this photo last year during lockdown and as you can see it is very quiet. If you look very carefully you can see a car in the distance and two people walking on the beach beyond the far boat ramp.
No doubt it is busy again now we are in summer and the restrictions have eased but I haven't been there lately.
Lovely curve. So much nicer without hordes of people too! When we lived in Cyprus we used to go to a little cove, which was a bit of a walk from the main beach, but you could almost guarantee that there would be no tourists!
Beautiful curve on the sandy beach. Great shot and composition. The ferry service is the only link between Malta and Gozo. A helicopter service and light aircraft were tried some years ago but both failed and went bankrupt. Governments have for years been considering a bridge or undersea tunnel but there are as many against as there are in favour, and probably many more against.
@carole_sandford Yes I loved that too. We often found beaches that the tourists didn't know about when we lived in Cyprus too. There were some beauties. Quite a few on the Sovereign Base Areas as well.
