Responsible adult duties over now and I took Sharon home late this morning. Thanks for your well-wishes for Sharon. She is fine and all went well with her colonoscopy. She has had bowel cancer twice, the last time was 10 years ago but once a year she has to have a colonoscopy to make sure the cancer hasn't returned. She has just been told that she doesn't have to have another test now for 3 years, so all going well.
After I took her home I had my flu vaccine so no heavy housework for a couple of weeks again. When I got home I made a batch of sausage casserole and a batch of chicken paprika to put in the freezer, so I am all set for winter now with comfort food.
Hopefully I will be able to catch up with your photos this weekend.
I will be posting photos taken last Sunday at Birubi for the next few days until I catch up with photography again.
I took this photo of David and myself and didn't notice until I checked the photo on the computer that someone has drawn a heart shape in the sand just our right. Don't know if you are able to spot it.
Sort of got my glasses......ish......still have to return! Will hopefully catch up on email over the weekend.
Glad Sharon's test went well and you don't have to pretend to be a responsible adult any more!!
This is a gorgeous shot and I love the long shadows with that little heart in the sand. Super.
@casablanca Hope you get your glasses situation sorted soon, what a time you have had.
Responsible adult duties are quite a strain aren't they. ha ha. I should have a quiet weekend and then back to responsible adult again on Monday when David has an eye appointment in Newcastle for his latest glaucoma tests. I will be the guide dog and driver once he has had the drops in his eyes.
Sweet! Glad to hear Sharon is well. After my ordeal Jeff and I want to return to our favorite seaside place for our anniversary this year. I can't wait to hear the ocean again.
Wow you have had a busy day....what a good friend you are Babs! Sharon will bless you for the lift, overnight stay & just being there for her during that unpleasant procedure...horrid to have to go through it on your own. Hope you have a good rest!

@kjarn I think we have been in a growbag.
@kathiecb Glad you think we have lost weight. If only it were this easy.
