I have been wandering around the garden again taking photos of birds and I will post them over the next few days.
I think this baby noisy miner bird is out in the big wide and wonderful for the first time.
I put some meat out for his Mum and she fed this little one and then flew off to feed the other babies leaving this one in our frangipani bush. I think he looked a bit glum at being left and wasn't sure what to make of me taking photos, but he coped quite well.
Mum came back shortly after I took this photo and fed him again so he probably cheered up.
@maggiemae Noisy miner birds are Australian native birds from the honeyeater family and are often mistaken for the Indian Mynah so I want noisy miners here as Katrina @koalagardens says they have their place.
@amarante@ludwigsdiana He does look rather glum doesn't he but it is probably his first time out in the world and this strange woman was pointing a camera at him.
@terryliv I don't mind them, they are very well behaved in our garden probably because everything gets fed here and there is no threat.
@leggzy Thanks, he was probably traumatised ha ha.
It's been raining here all day today
