What butcher bird, I didn't attack a butcher bird!!!

This cheeky kookaburra was seeing off any bird which got in the way of the food I was feeding them in our garden.
Great capture

Fab capture Babs, love the bit of fluff on its beak. A noisy Miner was chasing a huge bird over my garden this evening and on Saturday a Kookaburra nearly flew into my husband when it was chasing a Magpie.

Love your sense of humour.

@flyrobin Thanks Robyn.

@elaine55 Thanks Elaine. The noisy miner's and the kookaburra's are the troublemakers in our garden, they chase everything. That bit of fluff on his beak is a butcher bird feather!!! They were fighting over some raw mince.

We nearly had a gang fight a couple of days ago, two magpies, two kookaburra's and two butcher birds all vying for the same food.

Great shot of my brown dogs nemesis. When the kookas laugh, Mr Hermann begins a barking frenzy. I don't think he has any idea what they are :-)

Haha. They are naughty, those kookaburras. One once stole a sausage off the BBQ.

@mcmary We get such a range of birds in our garden it can get quite dangerous at times. All competing against each other. The kookaburra's are very naughty though.

@lafish @angelar @joeyc @debilz Thanks so much. He was trying to look so innocent too.

@hermann Oh dear. Poor dog.

@888rachel I will believe the sausage thief. They can be very naughty. You won't believe this, but a kookaburra took one of my gardening gloves off our garden table a couple of months ago. What on earth would a kookaburra want with a gardening glove!!!

@yaorenliu He was trying so much to look innocent though.

Gorgeous, I love Kookaburras, we don't see them this close here, but can often hear them in the pineforest in the morning.

@cathy366 This chap is a regular visitor and he does get a bit bossy chasing the other birds away.
