Looking for crocs by onewing

Looking for crocs

Today's animal photo was taken at Port Douglas when we went on a river cruise looking for crocodiles. We managed to spot a couple of crocs, but they are very sneaky and stayed just under the water.

This dog belongs to the boat owner and must regularly go out on the cruises with them.

@hermann He was really on the look out.

@888rachel I was a bit concerned about that, but I figured he had done this trip lots of times and a croc hadn't found him so far.

@princessm We did see a few crocs and he didn't bat an eyelid.

@huvesaker He was braver than I was. I certainly wasn't hanging over the edge of the boat, not with crocs in the water.

@paulaw If he did dive in he would only have done it once. there were a few crocs around and they would have spotted him very quickly.

@leestevo He belongs to the owner of the boat so I think he is a regular on these trips.

@happypat Braver than me too Pat. I wouldn't be hanging over the edge of the boat like he was. Not with crocs in the water.

Great capture, I just love Port Douglas, It's where I spent my honeymoon, and a few years ago we went back for our 15 year anniversary. Great spot, great memories.

I must be tired as when I read it I thought "OMG crocs at Port Stephens, I never knew that"! Good job I read again and realised it was Port Douglas.
