Inside the Muster Point 1 by onewing

Inside the Muster Point 1

Until the end of this month I will be posting photos of inside the Muster Point shown in yesterday's photo.

It is an amazing piece of work and so sad that the doorway has to be chained, with entry by appointment only, because vandals will get in and destroy it.

Today's main album photo

It is amazing that it is all made from steel, no you can't trust people to leave things alone, very sad Babs!

The whole place looks fascinating. Why is kept locked all the time? Surely it could be monitored?

@dianeburns @hermann @beryl @wanabe @ibt @pcoulson @gigiflower @onlyme111 @karlow75 @lafish @darthkitty @angelar @kwiksilver @chimfa @golftragic @888rachel It really is an interesting sculpture and so sad that it has to be chained.
One of our club members asked recently if we could have another visit at night and take lights and torches with us. He thought it would make interesting photography, but unfortunately, we were told it wasn't possible because it is in a rather rough area of Newcastle and their insurance wouldn't cover us for a night shoot. Too risky apparently. Maybe that will answer Marnie's question. I wouldn't fancy monitoring it though Marnie, not without a machine gun. ha ha.
