Today was the first time I have had a chance to return to the Pacific since I've been back from the East coast! It felt good to be back home! I had to return to one of my favorite spots! I've had a few shots of this pier in my project. I just love the contrast of the industrial feel of the concrete against the natural beauty! Apparently so does a dozen or more other photogs! Its summer and tourism is at its best here! After squeezing my way in and taking this shot I headed to the sand for a more relaxing experience!
Welcome home! There is something calming and zen-inducing about the coast, especially once you've been away for a while. You can feel that sense of peace in the shot. Beautiful!
