Stuck a black piece of paper, with a little hole in the middle, over my lens to create a pinhole effect. The hole was a bit too small to start off with so cut it a bit bigger. Sometimes I couldn't focus, so switched to manual focus. Had fun with experimenting.
I want to make a little pinhole camera with film now!
It's good to experiment. You could make a small hole in a lens cap, don't use the lens at all, and see what effects you can get. Mind you, you might need a lot of lens caps to get it right! Alternatively make a larger hole in the cap, then cover it with some lightproof material with a small hole. Search the web for the best size of pinhole, if you haven't already.
Most wonderful, you DID IT! Congratulations!!!!! I googled pinhole photographers and found this guy, Justin Quinnell ( http://www.pinholephotography.org/) scroll down to the bottom and watch the Life of a Pinhole Photographer- just wonderful images, information and teaching ideas. Fav!
