The children had two friends over to play and were running around in the garden.
I watched Mark for a while who was chopping wood, to be stacked and dried for next winter. I had read about Ernst Haas in the Artist Challenge thread,

and looked up some of his images on his website. Very inspiring! His motion studies,

caught my immediate attention, but all other work is as inspiring.
Anyway Mark swinging the axe made me think it would be a good subject. I deliberately chose for a slow shutter speed (didn't use a tripod though) and in LR added a bit of grain and accentuated the blue.
