Embrace

After dinner stroll. I told Roz about my little project to photography this tree, the branches, the lichen, the roots. She said: 'I love this tree too, mummy'.

It is a beech, the tree. I saw lots of beech nut cases lying around it. I was focusing on one of those cases with the tree in the background, when Roz walked into the frame, cuddling the tree.

Our stroll continued with lots of tree hugging by Roz. Later the hugging changed to blow kisses as there were too many trees.
Such a great candid photo. Love it

That's a great tree. I love trees, I don't hug them, maybe I should. Love your POV for this shot.

What a sweet story, and she really does look like she loves that tree. It does look rather special with all those multiple merging trunks

It is huge! The scale wasn’t clear from the other shots. Lovely photo. And I love children’s practical approach: too many to hug them all? Blow kisses!

Lovely capture and sense of scale with Roz in the frame

That really gives a good idea of the size of that tree! We are partners this week for your challenge why don’t you do an abstract macro using the tree? How does that sound?

@mcsiegle that sounds good, thank you!
