Back in the office

First day at work again. 3 days a week. Though I like being back, I still felt trapped inside.

Mark takes care of the children. He said he found the youngest of 10 months climbing on a small chair to get to the plums in a basket. The boys were fighting when the landlord came to check out the damp in one of our rooms. But then, when the children had some grapes and Sep wanted more and cried because there were none left, Lev gave him his last one.
Cool building.

Oh mama, that must be hard. Love your photo, though. great illustration for your point. I may have to start up working again and it's freaking me out. Don't know what we will do with the kids or what I can even do as I have bee so long out of the work world.

Oh golly how hard to be back at work! Great image to represent your feelings. What a day for Mark, well done him. Glad he was rewarded by Lev's charm and generosity.

Super shot - those blinds look like bars on the windows.

Poor you back at work. Hope at least it's enjoyable. Love the building in b&w.

@amandal thanks Amanda! I'm glad their dad is with them the days I work and vice versa. It's funny how the mind works, when I'm not with my children I miss them, but when I'm with them I sometimes wish I could escape for some peace and quiet.
Hope you find something that suits you!

@lleo thanks Gwenllian!
@thresheg thank you Graham, and for the fave.
@virtualbrownie much appreciated, the fave!
@ceilidh thanks Margaret, it's totally different than standing in front of a classroom full of children, but it's okay and not too stressful so perfect for me for now with three young children.

Great shot, nice lines.

The cold colors seem to enhance the feeling of being trapped. Sounds as if Lev is a really great kid.

It does feel like a prison with all those bars. Isn't it nice that the kids care for each other deep down.

Strong contrast fits here perfectly. I don´t blame you for feeling trapped, those strong bars would make me feel so too -where do you work that those kind of bars are needed!
September 10th, 2014
This is a great shot, but it looks like a prison!! Hope it wasn't quite as bad - must be hard.

A very busy day for Mark. I bet he preferred to go to work instead of you. Delightful shot to mark your feelings.

I really love the lines in this photo. I would feel trapped too!! It has a cold feel to it when done in B/W like this...I think most photos do. At least the windows are large and there is a view!! Great composition and details!! FAV

Ik heb Uw comment gelezen bij Ivan. Je vergeet : Panorama Mesdag . Voor een Scheveningse toch het icoon van de nederlands schilderskunst .
Ooit weleens gezien ?
