Sep, our two year old, had to go to hospital. Suspected meningitis. But after several checks and tests, all is well.
He wanted all three stickers, when the nurse pulled out the stent and he got them all three which made him happy, although ten minutes later he'd already lost them. He found the table on wheels interesting and the tap and the soap machine.
@amandal thanks Amanda, to be honest we weren't too worried, he seemed too lively to have it. It's just that his skin was covered in red patches and spots and he had a bit of a fever for a couple of days. It''s good the GP referred, so they can rule meningitis out. And Sep had a chance to be in the ambulance (we live an hours' drive from the hospital), which was mighty interesting of course :-)
Glad all well. My 2 year old covered in rash too, always have that moment when worry could be much more than a normal bug. His is some sort of virus. Hope all happy and recovering at home now.
