My get pushed challenge from Harry, @hjbenson, was 'to take a photo of historical architecture from a non-standard point-of-view'. It was more of a challenge than I thought. I had the plan of making some pictures of the wharfs (the slate warehouses built in 19th century) near the Porthmadog harbour. But I couldn't find an interesting point of view yet and I was too busy with making sure Sep and Roz wouldn't fall in the water. So I gave up the idea for now.
When home and tidying up the wash upstairs, I looked through the skylight and thought, this might fit the challenge.
We live rural and next to a little church, Eglyws St Beuno. It's very old, from the 14th century and one of the many St Beuno churches on the pelgrims route to Bardsey Island, Lleyn Peninsula.
We have a skylight it shows clear sky unless you stand on the edge of the bath, then you can see next-door's gable. You get a 14th century church. Brilliant....
