Two of a kind but of different colours , I remember as a student in Bangor (years and years ago !! ) one of my uni friends had odd coloured eyes ! and as Brenda says so did David Bowie !

awesome, saxa! in the 19th century, people with this condition were treated as pariah or freaks. i actually think it looks awesome. jane seymour has blue and purple eyes. david bowie actually has both blue eyes, but had an accident that resulted in a permanent dilated pupil. aces!

i wont be able to do your push this week but i do intend to do it; i shall tag you when i shall have posted it next week. thanks.

@pyrrhula @brennieb @bkbinthecity @beryl @summerfield @leananiemand thanks for your comments. I find it very intriguing, these oddities. My eyes are not hetero chromo. For the viewer the right eye is my own colour, the left eye I 'changed' in post processing.

@overalvandaan -- and there was us thinking you were unique !! ha -- great processing !

@beryl no uniqueness at all, just very average, my eyes ;-)

The shot is wonderful, to begin with. I think this is very uncommon - the first time I came across it myself.

This is so fun Saxa!! Lovely eyes you have, regardless of the color :) I do confess that in the past I've image-googled heterochromia just so I'd get to see different colored eyes because I think it looks so cool. :)

Looks like indecisive chromosomes were involved! Often inherited... are there other examples in your family?

Very creative response to your challenge.

Brilliant processing. And also Alexander the Great had impaired eyes: just because one needs to model after someone...

Sue
Well you had us all fooled there. Great use of post processing for your Get Pushed challenge

Over 50 years ago, I dated a dear fellow with one blue and one brown eye...I always thought it gave him a distinct and charming look! Until today I never knew there was a name for that! Lucky you to be singled out to be so unique!
