Another really wet day and had to get out to enjoy some fresh air and photo stimulation. Light was not good, rain was bad, standing water and at times I did feel cold. Oh well the Woodpecker was compliant and visited the nut station. Good luck to any new comers to this wonderful site there are some amazing photographers and people out there.
At least Woody did what was required of him......sounds like you had so many things against you. Very wet day for me too, but sometimes you just have to get out and try to dress the best you can for the conditions. And you are right, for newbies , this is a great place to find amazingly talented photographers and for us that have been here a few years...... some great long term friendships made.
@creampuff - didn't he just....? it seems to appear in Mid November, looking at the photo details - no wonder he wants to go to the camera shop with me to spend some of my money!! :0)

@nicolaeastwood now Lovely Hat Lady for one who has not been around can you comment. Entertainment Com still waiting . Re lens baby if it helps you get back into photo land and makes you smile why not. @creampuff may have a better idea plus I am always happy to spend your money!!!
@creampuff oh puffy cream I think Specsavers would help. At a recent little meet it was right in front of you. However as a special friend I will let you off not noticing. Think your false eye lashes had come unstuck with laughter at the time!!!
@nicolaeastwood I have played with a Lensbaby and it is fun (if a little awkward to master). You will need to get used to being in manual mode - something @padlock can't handle!
