Here I am in a Chicago and it's now 2.40 am and I am wide awake! I decided to see if I could edit a photo on my new IPad in LR for IPads and to see if I could upload.
This is the view to the left out of my window looking up river. I actually look directly at Trump Tower which was a great surprise when I drew the curtain to look out! What fantastic views I have and Rosie's room looks down the river towards Lake Michigan! Definitely worth upgrading our rooms!
This was a quick edit and I know I would do it differently on my laptop which I will do when I get home.
We are meeting Taffy and Andie tomorrow for a photo walk about and maybe some light trails later.
I am so looking forward to this week with Rosie wandering around this fabulous city trying to capture some of its magic! Hoping some of Taffy's architectural skill will rub off! Lol!
Back to bed to see if I can get some more sleep!
Well, I hope you got more sleep. Jet lag is hard to deal with, but you'll have so much to do over the next week, that you will shake it off no problem! What a super image from your hotel - that car park is something else!
Have a grand time Pam! I have only been to the Chicago Airport on my way to Ohio or some place else. However, one day I will see Chicago! Until then, I will see it through your lens. :)
@terryliv@louannwarren I took the photo when we arrived at the hotel which was about 1pm on the 24th. I just edited and uploaded it in the middle of the night. I see the date and time on my camera is wrong! Now how do I change that! It's now 6.40 am and it's time to get up I think.
I love this view! You've perfectly captured the lines of bridges across the Chicago River. And fun to peek into the Marina Towers parking area! Such a great day today. I do hope you get a full night's sleep tonight.
Absolutely wonderful Pam! I now have a very clear, panoramic image in my mind, and that's certainly a million dollar view! Best of all, with you and Rosie looking out in two directions, you can each capture both of them! After your first full day, you're either out like a light, or wide awake, feelinglike morning has arrived! Jet lag is a tough one! Enjoy enjoy!!!
@Weezilou I was shattered Louise and fell asleep about 11pm after being out with Andie doing light trails! It's now 00.55am and I am wide awake! Noooooo!
Jet lag will do that to you, darn it. For me, I really enjoy seeing a level view of that circular parking garage, which (previously) I could only see from below. Amazing, how those cars are just tucked in there. I bet their owners are blind to the wonderful view, parking everyday as they do. Enjoy!!!
