Rain all day today here In Yorkshire and sunshine at home and in the South of England! Another shot from yesterday's drive from Malham to Settle. I hope the weather improves tomorrow!
Wonderful clouds and scene. I find myself wondering re perspective...would there be an angle that you could shoot from in which the wonderful stone wall would lead you in rather than seemingly blocking the eye's passage? Just a thought. Gorgeous photo nonetheless
@jgpittenger this shot was taken very quickly Jane as the road I was on was single track with passing places. I stopped the car and took this out of the window before another car came up behind me and I had to move on. I know I could have got a better shot if I could have parked the car and moved into the right place. Very frustrating!
@golftragic no trees as I am up high on the dales and this part near Malham is famous for its limestone pavement. The trees do not grow up on the moors - it's all heathers which are not in bloom at the moment.
