We took a drive over to Castleton this morning and of course had to drive up Winnats Pass. It is a limestone gorge with a very steep winding road to the top. Great views over the Hope Valley. Luckily no one was behind me so I was able to stop and take a few shots through the windscreen. The day started with sunshine and a blue sky but by the time we were out driving the sky had clouded over and as we walked around Castleton there was a light drizzle in the air.
