We are home again - early!! George has not been himself since Sunday and I have had two nights awake with him as he was panting and trying to get comfy - obviously in pain. I really thought he was going to have a heart attack the panting was so violent. It went on for hours and then finally eased off in early morning only to be followed by him being sick. I decided it was time to go home this morning and get him to the vet who has been treating him. Thankfully I got an appointment for this afternoon. She gave him a thorough check out and said his heart and lungs were fine. His temperature was normal. The only thing she could find was his tummy was a bit hard. She thinks he has gastritis and maybe trapped wind which would cause the pain and the panting. He is now on antacids and hopefully we should see an improvement by tomorrow. Poor George he is now on Piriton for his allergies, Ear drops for his ear infection and a steroid cream for his itchy feet. We now have a blue tablet that he has to take twice a day. He really is in the wars poor baby!!

Oh Pam, I'm SO SORRY to read all that about George! What a shame...for all of you! I hope he might outgrow his malady's...you certainly don't want to see him in pain! I hope that otherwise you were having a wonderful time! I have a great deal of catching up to do!
Oh Georgie! You poor guy! I hope he feels much better soon Pam! That sounded like a scary ordeal and terrible pain!
Sophie had a birthday this week so I posted her pic! Maybe that will cheer George up a bit? :)
