This is George waiting to attack Finlay as he walked slowly behind me. They are both in heaven back on their favourite beach in Instow. There was a very light rain shower last night - the first rain we have seen for 5 weeks and this morning as the heat rose it was very very humid. My face was red and dripping but Barbara looked cool as a cucumber - it's just not fair!! LOL!! As you can see the tide was right out and we were walking along the tractor tracks where it was firmer to walk.

After the 6 1/2 hour drive yesterday I was aching all over this morning - the heat also does not like my arthritis. Felt a lot better after our walk along the beach. Not much fun getting old!! Having a quiet weekend resting before we get together with my Niece Ruth and her girls.
Many thanks for visiting my project - very much appreciated!!
I was so shocked when I got back down to the south east this morning after a week in Cumbria where it was a balmy 20 degrees with occasional rain. Arrived home to 30 degrees and a parched garden. Parched me too!!!
Hope you have a delightful time and recover from the journey speedily. George and Finlay must be in paradise now!
