It was only when I had this image on the laptop that I saw the robin was holding his leg up. Not seen this before with a robin so am hoping he hasn't hurt his leg. I will keep an eye out for him.
Best on black!!
I have returned to my lovely Canon 5D Mark 111. I really do not like the Lumix and decided to go back to the Canon to check out how many shots were in focus etc. Only one shot of a starling taking off was out of focus whereas if I had been using the Lumix I would have been lucky to get half usable shots. There is definitely a delay in taking the image and I was loosing too many bird shots. So back to my favourite camera. I will be taking the Canon to Nova Scotia in October even though it is heavy. I also love my 100-400 mm lens so it's camera and lenses rather than clothes!! LOL!!
Many thanks for visiting my project - now I am back to my Canon I feel more like taking photos again!! Whooppeeee!!!
I know what you mean re the lens and camera (in comparison to the Lumix). My thought is that the Lumix comes along as an extra for the days I don't feel like carrying a heavy camera, but it can't replace the Nikon at this point. I wish it could!
Hope he is just practising his flamingo impersonation and hasn't hurt his leg
