We arrived early at Ross Farm just as they were bringing out the horse drawn wagon. Of course we had a ride in the wagon and what a delight it was seeing the historical working farm from such a vantage point. It was lovely listening to Louise @weezilou chatting to our driver about his work on the farm and how he takes part in competitions with horses pulling wagons (probably a technical term for this). It was great to meet people who were able to do work which combined their passions in life - so lucky!! The start of a beautiful day at Ross Farm - so much to see and learn.

Many thanks for your lovely comments on my empty Nova Scotia road. I am just back from taking my car in for it's annual service and the traffic between Wellingborough and Northampton was horrendous!! Thank goodness I don't have to do that drive every day!!
Unless I'm mistaken, the awning looks as if it’s shading front and back rather than the sides...or is it the turning circle of the trailer as it follows the horses?
