Lovely to see the robin back in my garden looking a beautiful colour after his scruffy summer look when feeding his young. I have taken down all my bird feeders while I have been having the hedgehog problem as I think the food the birds have dropped on the lawn was attracting them. I have put my old bird table onto the patio and there seems to be little or no mess left under the table. It didn't take long for the birds to find where the food was!!

We’ve got a pair of robins that are enjoying scavenging. R put out nut feeders yesterday, although the robins generally feed off the ground or the large communal table.
