Rosie and I went outside the cafe to drink our coffee in the sunshine. There were lots of families having picnics at the tables and we were watching the children chasing the many gulls which were hovering around. Suddenly there were piercing screens as a few gulls came in for the attack and grabbed sandwiches out of the children hands. There were tears and the screams continued as the gulls came in for another pass to see what else they could steal. One of the little girls was so traumatised I am sure she will always hate birds!!
