A very special day for a very special couple!! Today was Louise and Ken's 48th wedding anniversary and I was so pleased to be able to share the day with them!! A lovely highlight in our wonderful Newfoundland adventure!!
We are now back in St John's until Sunday and will be exploring the surrounding area over the next few days.
We have still not seen a moose!! Everyone we meet tells us of their encounters and we are being warned about driving in the early morning and at night as they are so dangerous!! We have yet to see one!!

Honestly, I don't believe Ken or I even thought about this trip being over our anniversary, but Pam feted us over several days and treated us to an exquisite dinner on this evening! When I saw this photo, I said to Pam, "I don't think I've ever had an anniversary picture with a wool scarf around my neck!" This day and this trip have been nothing but a pleasure! Thank you, Pam!
