Outside the cottage front and back were hedges of beautiful lavender. The perfume hit you as you went out of the door and the sound of so many bees buzzing in the bushes. I took lots of bee shots but they are so flighty I find them very difficult to get a good shot. This was one of the best I think. We picked lots of lavender to bring home and make little bags for our underwear drawers.
