Here we are again waiting for people to come along the path. This time they had a dog but it wasn't interested in saying hello to Finlay!! I think the people are too far away for this one to qualify as street photography with people!!
Naughty Finlay always jumps up on this bench when we get to this place as if he needs a rest!!
For my mentoring group - street photography with people - if you squint you can see them!! LOL!!
I would say it is harder to take people shots when there are fewer people, and you look more conspicuous! Nice pov, and I didn't have to squint to see them!
I know what you mean Pam. I've been flat out doing medical stuff and struggling to find time to loiter in streets of people. But Finlay always wins my heart anyway.
@golftragic@pamknowler We can all be forgiven for not having a lot of street shots to contribute -- remember we only committed to one per week! I haven't been able to do any photography to speak of at all except to document. This is supposed to be fun -- so no worries!
Pam, I like both of your shots of Finlay -- the one with the people in it, I think would have been more 'street' like just by doing a simple conversion to b&w. It tells a great story -- here comes a dog, there's Finlay trying to 'be good' on the bench, but really saying "I WANT THAT DOG!!" "HERE I GO" "BUT, FiRST YOU CAN TAKE MY PHOTO." Fun fun shot!
@taffy Thanks for that Taffy - I will try a B&W conversion. I will have another go this week but with my 5D. I need to get some practice in on this subject!! There is no need to comment.
Finlay looks like he's just waiting for permission to check out that dogs credentials (and to evict him from Finlay's path) So beautifully constrained as he waits for permission.
