I have been taking shots of this tree for a while now especially this area where a large branch has been sawn off. It has been interesting as sap has bled out and now insects are living in the gaps that have been created over time. I was getting close yesterday looking at some spiders webs when I suddenly noticed the tree was smiling at me. It just made me laugh!! It's my friendly tree!!
Yes that is Finlay coming out from behind the tree - I wonder what he was doing round there?
