The Apple tree in my yard fell 5 years ago but still produces apples and now also blackberries from the vines in it's fallen branches. In the background one of the redwood stumps from when this was a logging camp in the late 1800's
Apple trees are amazingly resilient even when toppled. And now it gives you not one, but two fruits! Nice shot. So sad about the redwood though. But it makes for a nice contrast- one tree that survived and the other which did not.
