This time of year, the berries make the whole yard smell in the heat of the day, and so do the redwoods - so imagine blackberry and cedar scented air, and two hours strolling and picking and singing to myself. The things nature gifts us with when we let it!
Mmmmm- it must be a lovely aroma!! And the jam/jelly looks very tasty. I'd like to try my hand at jelly making this fall- we'll see if I actually do it. Nice shot!
My apple tree fell 5 years ago. It was as thick as my waist and at a 45 degree angle when we moved in 15 years ago, but it still produces a huge load of apples and the blackberry vines have threaded through the limbs and are full too. Th bears love it as much as I do
