Mysterious beauty

No idea what this mystery flowering plant is, it was in the sun, in a fisherman's hang out on the docks down at the harbor. It almost looked plastic, but felt very much alive.
Something in the bromelia family, I'd say. Whatever, it's a beauty.

Looks very much like a Yucca plant...but our flowers are usually pale yellow...pretty pale purple works too!

What a beautiful and unusual flower. It kind of looks like an Aloe Vera of some type.

The succulant leaves look like an aloe plant to me. But that's just a guess

When I looked in Wikipedia it says both Spanish Moss and Pineapple are part of the same family @ladydi53 @olivetreeann
