In the Pink by pandorasecho

In the Pink

This time of the year, 16 years ago, is when we decided to buy this house. It is old and had its issues but I blame the flowers for convincing me, and it was a great place for two boys to go from 2 and 3 to young men.
Looks like a lovely place to have grown up ... love the pink flowers!

I love the flowers .. I'd be convinced. I think that women buy with emotion and a "feeling." Then you make it into your home. And the land around it was beautiful too. It just says, "Welcome Home!"

Reminds me of the song by John Cougar Melloncamp....only we'll change the words to "little blue houses (instead of pink) for you and me." This is such an enchanting country scene and the flowering trees are gorgeous. Older homes have a lot of character.

When boys are involved, it's better to have a home that weathers them, than one that can grace the pages of Architectural Digest! It looks like a warm and friendly place- the best kind of home there is.

but didn't i say before that your house really looks like a home? the first time you saw it you saw 'home', the flowers were just an alibi.
