Eclipse without the Viewing lens by pandorasecho

Eclipse without the Viewing lens

I took a lot of eclipse pictures through the stages, but only two without the viewing lens with the camera facing the sun, while the shadow was completely covering it. Still bright. It never even really looked like twilight, but at our house it was only 6:24

I was going to delete this but then remembered the abstract challenge in 5wksinmay. BTW, the class I was subbing for yesterday and today, had to make abstract clay sculptures. They really struggled to do something that was less concrete than flowers and boats.

Wonderful abstract ... I have never tried an abstract. This has a beautiful glow and lovely soft color. Amazing photo. Haven't worked in clay since I was a child. I'm sure that my "cats, dogs, etc." looked like abstracts to everyone then. lol

That's really interesting to me- it doesn't really look like an eclipse for some reason. But then, I don't think I've seen one since my childhood! I like the effect it has on the clouds.
