my husband keeps threatening to mow the grass, and I love the field of dandelions, so I decided to play with the self timer and my book while the meadowy look was still there to play with.

@sarasdadandmom Actually I put the same picture up on Facebook and an old college friend said she had a picture of me, a book, the same red hair and a green lawn 25 years ago
Dixie, this is one of the best selfies I have seen. you look so natural and relaxed - if you put a photo of yourself on your bookcovers, i would highly recommend this. how lovely. you have a very beautiful hair color. now, if only i could emulate you and get one of myself. big sigh.
@catsmeowb Well, at least it is a Goode book. I had to use my new one of course. Thanks for the comments and the hair color has faded a bit but is so tied into my self image that I have to give it a little enhancement from revlon these days
I know what you mean about fields of weeds and such. I love them now! They call out to me like "adventure quest" wonderlands! I love the insect macro shot, so of course, fields like these are so fun for me. Very nice selfie in your dandelion field. Has your hubby cut it yet?
ah, you would never know. my sister's hair is just about your color. she did not care for it when she was a child but really likes it now that she is an adult. mine began to turn white when i was 19 - she is 60 now and is just beginning to get white at her temples. i find that so interesting. all my boys already salt and pepper, just like i would have been if i had not dyed my hair until a few years ago.
