my Saturday same-september theme is the feeling of growing older. My best friends as a child are these three, Singing-Moon the spring horse Mom and Dad bought for my 1st Christmas. I was 6 months and it was bought on lay-away because it was $20. It was always an Indian mustang to me.
Judy the chimp on the TV show Daktari was my constant companion and that funky blue "Troll" my grandma told me was alive but could only move when no-one was in the room. It did always roll under the bed or couch if I left the room.
Now my son's girlfriend has a 3 year old niece and my other son's girl has a one year old so I dug the toys out of the attic and have been enjoying seeing them get used again.
holy momma! that horse must cost a lot of money now, you think? i saw something similar at the antique market and they were asking for $250. i'm so glad you've held on to your childhoom treasures. you can picture yourself through the young kids, as that must have how you looked when you played with these. wonderful shot.
