My Mother-in-Law at the head of the table looking younger than I am now, and my Father-in-law in white beside her still looking the same. The bushy haired, smiling big sis who died on a hike in the Grand Canyon under the sunset picture, the Tongue waving nephew who died in a train crash a couple years ago, the beardy man who is my husband, though now he looks more like my FIL. Holiday food and drink has been shared with so many loved ones, and somehow, when that table is loaded down again this Christmas, with different faces gathered round, the feeling will be the same.
Fantastic memory! These memories are what this month brings to us. Funny, we don't remember what gift we got but we remember how people behaved. Hahaha!!! Awesome!
Very touching. But yet wonderful that photos re-capture old memories of those dear who have since left us. Thank you for sharing these special times in your life.
