Kneel to the Princess

We were babysitting my son's girlfriend's daughter while they took my younger son 500 miles away to college. The husband decided that even though we had two sons and 5 nephews, he could manage girls hair. Me, I was more comfortable when the diaper exploded and she trailed poopy footsteps through the kitchen than I was with curls and ribbons.
awww, how sweet! you make such great grandparents and babysitters! and the little one is just contented for him to finish. what a sweet capture, dixie.

love your narrative. what a wonderful photo - how typical of your dog to be observing the process with such interest as if, what comes next. fav. most excellent.

This is a wonderful photo! I laughed at the girl's hair vs poopy diaper. :o) Come to think of it, I'm not sure which I'd opt for either!

Love this candid capture ...he's doing a pretty good job on here hair! I'd rather do the hair too! Not the diaper thing as much. :)

Darling shot. I fully understand the hair part. I have a hard time with girl's hair. It is a good thing I had a boy instead of a girl.

Because I raised two boys and was never much for doing anything fancy with my hair, I've always been nervous when asked to brush Leigh's hair! So bravo to your husband for taking on the task! Cute shot!
