Monkey bread

The easiest bit of good for your tongue bad for every other part of you sugar and carbs that I ever did learn how to make
and why is it called monkey bread? it certainly doesn't look like a monkey to me!

I don't know, but it is just canned biscuits torn into quarters and rolled in cinnamon sugar. then dropped with nuts or raisins if you like, into a casserole dish or bundt pan. You mix 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup 1/2&1/2 and bring to a boil then pour over the dough, pop into a 350* oven and once it is browned and crunchy looking on top, invert on a plate. In a bundt pan I double the caramel sauce and use 2 jumbo cans or 4 small biscuit cans.

Yes, we would call that upside down caramel pudding - make it with chocolate too! Not now though!

Looks and sounds delicious!! My hubby is not a dessert person so I rarely bake anything. I love to look at all the yummy goodies though!

This was a favorite of our students when I was teaching. I was actually surprised that it was way too sweet for me! I usually love sugary stuff!
