Caesar and Ford are curious, but cautious together, and Caesar knows that he looks bigger and more threatening with those wings up. He doesn't know his display isn't impressing the blind dog who really has no idea how big this strange smelling and very loud roommate is.
Caesar is beautiful! Fun that he's putting on an unnecessary display for Ford though... My girls do the same thing when they spot a person walking past our fence - though the passers-by almost never look!
I LOVE the mixture ... hubby (?) looks very calm and in control of everything. Beautiful photo, Dixie! The whole world needs some of this kind of sharing spaces and "love!" :)
@hoosierhokie Ford is young, and just went to a vet clinic where they said he isn't blind because his pupils react to light nd he tracks some movement, but he slams head first into a chair if you leave it pulled out from the table, and can't find the bacon you offer him until you touch him on the nose with it and acts blind. It has gotten worse over time but no, he isn't old. He just turned 2 of Feb. 9th We were told we could take him 127 miles away to a eye clinic for a $3,000 eye exam that may or may not be able to help him - but he is obviously happy and not in pain. My theory is that his pupils are usually wide open, and even in the near dark his eyes seem to glow, I think the pupils don't close fast or often and that his retina has become burned by too much light.
